Reply:Socks. I find slippers too restrictive. When I take off my shoes, I don't want to stuff my feet into slippers. It's very comfortable just to stay sock-footed.

Reply:I like socks a lot, but have a vast array of house slippers too! I like wearing socks when there's carpet, but slippers for hardwood/linoleum. Plus, you can't go outside in your socks, so I think that slippers are better. Or socks with slippers, hehe.
