I want a tattoo of ballet slippers but I cant find any related pictures or drawings to show to the artist.?
google, find a picture of the type of slippers you want, points etc. that or if you are a dancer yourself bring your own shoes in and ask him to sketch something from them. that way its more personal.

Reply:the best thing to do would be to go to the tattoo artist and look through their design books. It's possible they've done that design before.
Reply:take a pic of your ballet shoes or bring them into the artist if you have a pair. The art will be fantastic if they can draw their inspiration from the real thing!
I have a tattoo of my daughter's name on my ring finger and the artist did a fantastic job by just meeting her and my husband has 20 tattoo's, the best one is a biker link chain around his arm, he just road his motorcycle in and the artist just drew the pic up from the real thing. It's gorgeous.

They may not always be on display, but I believe they are quite regularly. You can always check with the museum.

Also, when my aunt got married I was young enough that heels were an issue, and at the same place we got everyone else's shoes dyed they had a little slipper they called a ballet flat that they dyed for me to wear at the reception. They were tucked in the bottom of the dye-able section, worth looking for.

Make them! Buy some really nice slippers and then look for Smiley Face Fabric or Better, I think in the Auto section Wal-Wort had Smiley Balls you could attach to the Slippers. When you make your own you will have a better quality slipper and it be unique, then your friends will want you to make them some, their families will want, then the people at their work will want. Then you have to move to a Rural Area get Government Funding and start a Company to Hire people to make your Slipper. How do I Make my ballet slippers a tiny bit more loose?!?
i just bought a pair of ballet flats n yeh they fit snuggly n nice, but when i walk tho.. they start to hurt like at the back of my feet. Is there a way i can make them a BIT looser, without having to get another size? ( because they didn't have like a half size bigger)

I had the same problem. Unfortunately, making them loose will not help, because, when you walk, the shoe slids forward anyways. I stuck a band-aid on it, it's actually okay cuz the band-aid can't be seen =)

Can I wash my suede moccasin slippers?

those are so cute! i wouldn't chance putting them in the washing machine. traditionally suede ruins when it is wet. look for a suede cleaner, or if they have dirt on them maybe you can get some packing tape and lift it off.

Your best bet is to take them to your local dry cleaners and ask for the suede cleaning technique.

Obviously the people who answering rudely have no experience in this dept! After a day of standing in those shoes for the wedding, you will be very ready to get out of them. At my wedding (which didn't consist of old people), at least 1/2 of the women had their dress shoes off by the time it came to dance.
I think that if you will be indoors for the reception, nice slippers that match the dress would be a GREAT idea! They'd be less likely to slip on the dance floor and wouldn't ruin their nylons. I'm thinking something like the ballet slipper type (not real ballet slippers obviously- the ones that resemble them), you could get them in white at Walmart even for less than $10 and dye them (or have them dyed) to match your dresses.
I personally do NOT like flip flops at all and I think that would be an annoying feeling.

i bought them they were in the lingirie section in the avenue store. they are black ballerina style and they curl up when you take them off they have a rubber sole in the middle of the shoe bottom but there is also soft pink material around the rubber part on the bottom. my man says i can wear them outside but i don't know! i seen a similar pair on the juicy couture website and they are listed under shoes! i am confused!

A bloke can wear whatever he pleases, the same goes for a girl/woman. The only downfall is that they have to be ready to be mocked by other people :S unfortunately in society there will always be someone who wants to make people feel bad about themselves :S

I do. I love slippers and I usually have a pair by the door. Most shoes hurt my feet, and our floors are always cold so I cant wait to slip into comfy slippers.

Reply:YES! i hate just wearing stupid socks that dont keep ur feet warm. me and my mom have this thing with cold feet.. they just generly suck! so when i walk through the door i always ha ve my slippers theer so wheni walk through the door they r on my feet right away!
