Red and I have never watched a movie BACKWARDS. And of course the "collar" would not change.........

In the book they were silver. Unmistakably silver.
It's mentioned several times. In the movie they were red because red looks better in Technicolor.
Never seen the movie backwards. Just haven't had a compelling reason to do it. Sorry. Report It
