What is the major difference between slippers and carpet shoes?

I think carpet shoes have better soles.

Slippers can be all knitted some may have soles but not like carpet shoes! They are similar but not quite the same! I use to work

in 2 different shoe stores. One of my Uncles Fred B.. had his own shoe store! So I know! Many do mistake carpet shoes for being the same as slippers!

What is the major difference between slippers and carpet shoes?
Slippers are comfortable and cozy by name and by site...carpet shoes just sound Gay and uncomfortable... :)
Reply:Some have soles and some do not..... slippers are nice. they have cushion.... carpet shoes are for the elite....
Reply:the name...SAME thing
Reply:I am guessing that slippers are for those who use them only inside the home, whereas carpet shoes have soles and the appearance of a shoe. I sometimes wear my carpet shoes at work for the comfort and also because they can pass as shoes.
